There's a few options for a starting Barrier gem.Starting from (C) Rune, these give +x% chance to dodge Crystal Sanction from being applied which is essential when fighting mobs from Crystal Depths Melee gear starting from Mithril can be further upgraded into (C) Barrier Gear.Starting from (B) Mithril, (B) Green D-hide, and (B) Acolyte Wizard, (B) Barrier Gear will provide +x% chance to dodge Crystallization from being applied which is essential when dealing with mobs that apply Crystallization, like those found in Crystal Caves.Most, if not all, gear from the base game can be upgraded once into (B) Barrier Gear which typically give +x Flat Summoning Damage as well as +x% Summoning Familiar damage added as extra damage to Barrier.Monsters from Eye-conic Cave, Mucky Cave, Tree Overgrowth, Collapsed City, Golem Territory & Unholy Forest do not regenerate Barrier. When the Enemy regenerates Barrier, they will gain a debuff that Slows them by 5% and decreases their Accuracy and Evasion by 10%, stacking up to 10 times. This regeneration effect can happen after their Barrier has reached 0.
